Career Narrative
My goal after leaving high school is to further my education to become a Forensic Nurse to help out with rape cases to help catch an individual who has committed the crime. I have always enjoyed working with people especially when you know that you are making a difference in there life. I have begun helping others out by volunteering my time at the Center for Dialysis Care. Basically talking and interacting with the patients and making their time at the center as comfortable as possible.
In order to fulfill this goal I must complete my four years in high school and graduate June 2009. I currently average about a “A” “B” in all my classes and I have completed all five parts of my OGT test. After high school I will go to a four year college to major in Forensic Nursing. I don’t have to attend a four year college I could just attend a nursing school, but I prefer to. I will hopefully de attending Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. To pay for college I will be relying on scholarships, Grants, and maybe a loan. After graduating form Duquesne University I hope to work in hospital as a Forensic Registered Nurse.
If my plan to become a forensic nurse does not work out I intend on going to the National Guard to become a nurse in the military. They pay for everything including college tuition when I enter the program. So either way it goes I am going to pursue my hopes of becoming a nurse.
