1. Establish rules & policy concerning ethics and behavior in the workplace.
Advantages:
← Clear understanding of behavioral and ethical standards required in the workplace
← Employees will be guided on how to act and behave in the workplace
← Since violations to policies are punishable, employees are forced to adhere to it.
Disadvantages:
← Creates negative connotation
← Sometimes it creates barrier to organizational goals
