The God I chose is Cerberus. I chose this god because he seems very interesting. This god has three heads. Cerberus’ type of dog is a Hellhound. Cerberus has a snake as a tale and snakes going down that looks like a mane. He was stationed by the River Styx their he would keep the living from entering the land of the dead. Cerberus was so fierce even the gods feared him. Hercules was given the mission to kidnap Cerberus and bring him to King Eurystheus. Some of Cerberus’ powers are superhuman strength, stamina and resistance to harm and a prolonged life enhancement.

Cerberus was remade into a few movies also. One movie he was in was Harry Potter. In Harry Potter the three-headed dog that belonged to Hagrid was actually based on the Greek God Cerberus. Also many comic book characters were based on Cerberus. His first appearance was in Thor in 1966. Also in comics a few of his enemies are Ghost Rider, Avengers, Bounty and Dr. Strange.

Cerberus is the name given to the entity which, in Greek and Roman mythology, is a multi-headed dog which guards the gates of Hades, to prevent those who have crossed the river Styx from ever escaping. Cerberus featured in many prominent works of ancient Greek and Roman literature and in works of both ancient and modern art and architecture. The name "Cerberus" is a Latinised version of the Greek Kerberos, which may be related to the Sanskrit word "śarvara-", used as an epithet of one of the dogs of Yama, from a Proto-Indo-European word *ḱerberos, meaning "spotted"
