Coping with a death isn’t ever easy, and some take so bad that the outcome is horrible. As Pony watched Dally shot to death in the parking lot, he knew that Dally had committed suicide in a way. “Dally raised the gun I thought: You blasted fool, they don’t know your bluffing. And even as the policemen’s gun spit fire into the night, I knew that that was what Dally wanted”. This is what Pony thought when Dally had fell the the police, and I agree with him.
