Chapter One of Ancient Wolves of Kysen

Nyte: I jerked awake as something tugged on my ear harshly, letting out a screeching yelp as Dark,
my littermate, let out a frightened one.
He shook his black-furred head and pawed at his ears with a whine-ish voice, "Yeesh, sis, you screech
like a lil fae pup!"
Growling, I bunched my legs beneath my body and pounced on him, giving a wolfish grin that revealed
my sharp canines. Leaning closer, I snapped at him before a huge grin spread across my muzzle. "You're it!"
Dumbfounded, he blinked his silver-grey eyes at me a few times.
I bounded off him and ran to the other side of the large den we were in (the Alpha's den), digging my
forepaws into the ground and pushing down on them as my tail stayed up in the air, my tongue lolling out as I
playfully threatened to pounce on him again.
Leaning his head back, Dark looked at me questioningly before rolling to his stomach and mirroring
me, snapping at the empty air infront of him.
Shifting my right forepaw over some, I gave him the side of my body, walking along the edge of the den.
And as he carefully did the same; Wicked bursted into the den, causing Dark to let out a surprised yelp.
Wicked was my older brother, and I guess the easiest way to explain him is that he's pretty much an older
version of Dark. The only difference is that Wicked had these wonderful umber-brown eyes, while Dark had
those sharp silver-grey ones. Oh, and Dark's hairtips were tinted with a silver color. Wicked was purely black.
If you were wondering how I looked, let's just say that I wouldn't be able to tell the difference from
Dark standing infront of me to me standing infront of a mirror.
Looking back and forth between Dark and myself, Wicked had a slightly confused tone in his telepathic
voice. "What are you two doin'?"
Dark jumped forward, puffing his chest out and holding his head high. "Galavanting!"
Both Wicked and I gave him a weird look, silence following...
