Chapter One

Who am I? Well for starters I am 17 years old, and go to Estrella Foothills High School. I live in the city of Goodyear, however my house is at least 10 minutes away from anything. I live in a fairly large community, called Estrella Mountain Ranch. It’s a great place for the younger kids, because they all live close to one another and they meet up at the lake. For the teenagers it’s not so great. I often find myself wondering what to do. With gas prices the way they are, nobody wants to drive “down the hill”.

There are times when I walk into work and nobody is smiling nor talking to our customers. Many times I have clocked in and started up a conversation with a co-worker and put a smile right on their face. I hope to carry that trait along with me through the rest of my life, and eventually pass it down to my children.
Currently this is who I am,...
