The movie that I am going to be discussing for my character evaluation paper is Beauty and The Beast. This movie is about a girl Bella that sees her father thrown in prison, and she has to do something to get him out. Bella is very compassionate and very spontaneous in this movie. There is a character Gavin that is trying to get her to marry him, she never truly says no in this movie. The one thing that puts Bella into a unique character is that in the movie she professes her love for reading and books. In the movie she has great adventurous spirt for life, adventure, and just for exploring.
Openness and comparing Bella is easy because she professes her love of books and reading. Another thing that makes her openness is her ability to make friends when she gets to the castle and everyone is just friendly to her. Also, Bella taking in the bad things that happen to her and to still how a friendliness toward everyone.
Conscientiousness is shown in a couple areas of the movie, but not many. In one part of the movie Bella throws off Gavin’s attempt to profess his love. She verbally spares with him but is never rude to him, she is very polite and acts cordial to him. Another scene could be when she plans to make the castle be festive with Christmas. That took a lot of planning and decorating, especially having to go out and look for the tree with the servants and all.
Extraversion is shown in the movie with Bella finding good in any situation. The one scene that stands out is when Bella and The beast are together and The Beast is angry. Bella still tries to calm him down and find the good in him. Even when she was imprisoned in the castle by The Beast she still manages to befriend him.
Agreeableness is the one trait that she shows throughout the movie, and excels in it. In the movie Bella has to make an agreement to get her father out of prison even...
