The differences between Muslims and Arabs are that Muslims follow the Muslim religion of Islam of Allah. Arabs are from the Middle East and Northern Africa region and not all Arabians practice the Muslim religion.
According to the news reports within the past two years some of the changes the United States has made concerning the treatment of Muslim and Arabic members of society have took a significant change stemming from the post events of 9/11. In October 2001 the United States Government as placed an anti terrorism policies mainly targeted at Muslim and Arabic members. The State Department had also issued an mandatory twenty day hold on non immigrant visa applications that were submitted by men between 18-40 years of age in twenty six countries mostly targeted at Muslims and Arabic members on Oct 2001. According to Salah D. Hassan 2002 Arabs, Race and the post Sept 11 National Security, Middle East Report state that “The Justice Department announced on August 12 its intention to implement the National Security Entry-Exit Registration System (NSEERS) on September 11, 2002. The system involves the fingerprinting of "high-risk" foreign visitors. In addition, the program will require targeted foreign nationals to register their residence with authorities and to confirm their exit.”
