Safety
Operating costs, such as oil changes and routine maintenance, are drastically reduced. In some cases, brakes last longer due to the regenerative braking systems. GM will offer longer warranty coverage for the hydrogen-specific components, usually eight years, so you are covered if something goes wrong with the fuel cell, batteries or the electric motors. All components have been designed to last the life of the vehicle and build into the cost of the product is the charge to recycle the fuel cell and batteries at the end of their life. Performance
