ABTRACT
This experiment was used to develop the understanding of two dimensional momentums. This investigation focuses on the conservation of total momentum using the equation , which can be also solved as. The total kinetic energy Was also be conserved in this lab, another way to present is By using the data collected from the experiment to check whether the total kinetic energy and total momentum is conserved or not. Measuring the angle and of dote lines to find the x and y components of velocity and momentum.
Purpose
The purpose of this lab is using a vector diagram to calculate the energy before the collision and after collision involving in two dimensional momentums, in order to determine the conservation of total kinetic energy and total momentum.
Question
By doing the experiment of two dimensional momentums on both category 1 and category 3, to compare the different of the total kinetic energy and total momentum of two pucks before and after the collisions.
Prediction
The prediction of category 1 is to compare the total momentum and total kinetic energy before the collision and the number of systems after the collisions.
