Abstract
The objective of Criminology is to control and access the behavior of human conduct. In this paper, I will share my worldview perception on criminology as it relates to Christian views and how it shaped my perception.

My Perception

I believe everyone has their own opinion or beliefs about criminology based on how they were raised as Christians and the experiences they could had as just being humane and observing the criminology system as it relates to others and personally.
My personal perception of criminology and my Biblical beliefs are, whenever a crime is committed, I often ask why did someone commit that crime or what cause them to do such a thing? I ask myself this because as a Christian, I believe everyone has feelings and a heart, but sometimes they might have something eating at them so bad that they refuse to let the kind heart glow. I have a cousin who has spent most of his life in prison and I often pray for him because he need prayer as bad as or worse than anybody else. He has been on drugs is the reason he committed the crimes that he committed but if was on the drugs, he would not have committed the crime. This is where Criminology serves its purpose as studying these crimes and what caused the person to act out a certain way and why the crime was committed and with this data, hopefully there can be systems such as counseling and treatment facilities to help offset and create a healthy environment for the person that committed the crime and society.
Everyone has a worldview. Whether or not we realize it, we all have certain presuppositions and biases that affect the way we view all of life and reality. A worldview is like a set of lenses which taint our vision or alter the way we perceive the world around us.
