Can racial segregation be helpful in building a country? The twentieth century has seen a lot of racial segregation. People of the same color felt happy and safe when they got together. A division between races is an important problem that makes a country very weak. Same people who had all powers in the country did not want others to be equal to them. The minority races were in service to the majority and they did not have any authority to denounce the problem that they were going through. Since the twentieth century the Civil Rights is an issue that remains an important problem and affects many countries such as the United States.
When the United States was discovered around the year 1450, European brought a great number of African to work in different domains. A few years later the country was mixed with white and black colors but Black American did not have any opportunities to integrate the white community. There were discrimination of race and colors in the country. I do not accept these situations that black American went through all those problems and it remains a capital problem in the country. I do believe that to have one people, one nation, the population has to burn racial segregation. A colors division cannot take place in a democratic country such as the United States where everybody must work together and help achieve the development of the country. I agree with the Civil Rights movement leader Dr Martin Luther King who denounced the Black American situation in 1960s. King thought about the injustice and the oppression of Black American. Everyone has his rights and should get it equally without there being a difference due to color or race. The United States is a melting pot country so anyone who lives here must have the same right and advantage as others.
