Ashkhabad and the Gold Coast were compared in Part 3 and it was not difficult to determine the better climate. I believe that a good climate consists of a temperature which is close to room temperature (25 degrees C) as this is the temperature I am most comfortable with. It should also not have extreme highs or lows. I also think that having a good amount of rainfall is important to keep the environment beautiful and alive. This does not include regular torrential rainfall or flooding, nor does it include common extended droughts. In a year, around 100 days should have rain as this will help ensure regular water for plants and we will still have plenty of days to enjoy the sunshine.
When it comes to temperature, Ashkhabad has a much greater range than the Gold Coast, with extreme highs and lows. The Gold Coast is more constant. As can be seen in the parallel boxplot in the section above, the Inter-Quartile Range of the Gold Coast fits perfectly between the median and Q3 of Ashkhabad’s box, which shows how much greater the range of Ashkhabad is. Ashkhabad reaches 38 degrees and can drop down to 3 degrees. This is extremely rare on the Gold Coast. The median of the maximum temperature on the gold Coast is 25.5 degrees which is very close to the ideal temperature set in paragraph one. The median for Ashkhabad is 21.5 degrees which is cooler and not as ideal. Therefore when it comes to mean maximum temperature, the Gold Coast is better.
For mean rainfall, the bar graph in the above section shows that the Gold Coast has a much greater amount of rainfall than Ashkhabad. In the graph, it is possible to tell that for every month, the Gold coast has around triple the mean rainfall, but mathematically our mean rainfall is very close to 6 times the mean rainfall of Ashkhabad. The patterns of rise and fall however are similar, where we have high rainfall, they have their high rainfall. Although it may seem that the Gold Coast has too much rain, it is actually that...
