Kudler Fine Foods Vulnerabilities
Kudler Fine Foods is in the process of developing a frequent shopper loyalty program based on customer purchases and other relevant information. One of the major concerns of the new program is information security. To guarantee that the information system is as secure as possible Kudler has hired a team to direct the development team in what must be done to properly protect company and customer information during all stages of development. This report includes three main sections pertaining to information security of this program. The first section identifies the top information security threats and potential vulnerabilities that these threats might exploit. The second part of the report includes all security considerations for each phase of the systems development process. The final section of the report identifies any information security policies that will need to be applied as well as any employee security training. As long as Kudler Fine Foods implements all the recommendations from the security team, Kudler will not have to worry about their new frequent shopper program being compromised.
Employees and Databases
In the world today, identity theft runs rampant. People only need a small piece of information in order to be able to start unraveling the world around their target. This poses a significant risk to Kudler Fine Foods. Personal Identifiable Information is used every day in their Loyalty Program and must be guarded at all times lest it become a liability. Employees at Kudler Fine Foods who have access to this information could cause the company significant financial woes as well as listing the company as a defendant in a harassment lawsuit.
