Coach, Inc. (Coach) is an American luxury leather goods company which established in 1941. The company was one of the oldest handbags and accessories brand and one of the top luxury fashion brands in the U.S. By the early 1990s, Coach had a choke point like its competitor, which its brand was mainly known for “classic and staid designs”, and could not show its unique image. Lew Frankfort became the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in 1996, and underwent a series of transformation with the Executive Creative Director, Reed Krakoff. During the late 1990s, the company started offering lifestyle accessories, modern and fashionable handbags with a variety of materials such as nylon, fabric and variants of light-weight leathers, which is no longer relied on pure leather products only. In addition, the varieties of products expanded which include handbags, accessories, jewelry, clothing, briefcases, sunglasses, outerwear, travel bags, watches, footwear, eyewear and fragrance. Nowadays, the company engaged in the designing and marketing of fine accessories and gifts for women and men internationally. The company has a multi-channel retail network, which comprising own retail stores, catalogs and websites. It is headquartered in New York in the U.S.
