My love for the outdoors is unimaginable, no one person can actually understand
how much love I have for it. It’s not something that just happened recently, but a love
that I have had for much longer than I can remember. Whether it be hunting, that I have
just recently been introduced to, or just being outside, exploring and having the time of
my life. The outdoors is apart of me, if it were to be taken away, I would be losing a
major part of me and who I am today would not exist.
It started off with me just going outside to play. Ever since I was introduced to
deer hunting, in the fall of 2014, my experience with the outdoors has changed
immensely. At this point, sitting in the deer stand, I realized the true beauty of nature
and how we coexist with it. Now, we have issue, man is starting to forget about nature
and is trying to conquer it. The pollution, the garbage, all of this is killing one of the
biggest parts of me. It hurts and has made me look at nature differently once again.
Now it’s not just about killing a big deer, but learning about managing these populations
and learning from them. By learning more about nature, I hope to be able to spread the
word and that more people will join in and take stand to prevent its death. This world
would not be what it is without our big forests and crystal clear lakes. We can live
without these key environments, not to mention, the amount of animals and plants we
would be displacing and sending them out on their own to unknown areas. We need to
stand up and put an end to this disaster. The loss of nature is something no one can live
with. It may not seem to be as big a part of everyone as it is to me, but it is a part of
everyone
