College Paper
There was a time when a college education was absolutely necessary if you wanted to hold a job that made a good amount of money and to be considered to have a “good” job. But is that still the case? It’s hard to say with the tuition going up at a ridiculous rate and the amount of people actually graduating in four years, mixed with the bad job market where if you have a college degree, you aren’t guaranteed a job. In the first section I will tackle the question do too many people go to college. In the next section I will talk about my future plans and if they involve college and finally in my last section I will make a connection between the first two sections of my paper if too many people do go to college and my future and if this research has changed the way I feel or if it changes what I think that I should do to make myself successful.
1. Do you think to many people go to college?
It’s hard to really decide what I think about the question. Do too many people go to college? At first thought, you think no way, that’s a stupid question! You have to go to college if you want to be successful. There are only a few rare times when people are very successful and don’t go to college. How could more education ever be bad? All it is going to do is to make you smarter and more qualified for jobs. But then you have to dig deeper into the question. Are people going to college just because that is what they think they need to do to be successful and get the job they want? Also, people need to be realistic with themselves, if they didn’t do well in high school and it was hard for them to go to school then there is no way they will be successful in college with so much more freedom and no one making you go to school or getting attendance messages if you don’t make it to class.
