Dear Mauly,
How are you? I’ve been home for just two days but I feel that it was ages since I was in Darvel Island. Talking about this island, I sent this letter to you to tell you about my holiday there. I spent most of the time recently for my lovely holiday with my family. Before long, how’s your holiday? It might be meaningful and interesting right?
Located in United Kingston, the trip to the island took us a good five hours from home. We were foolish enough to visit one of the most densely populated islands in USA during peak holiday season. Never had I seen such incredible lines of traffic along the normally deserted trunk road. As we arrived, we got onto one of the ferries that took us to Darvel Island. The journey by boat was very pleasurable. I was lucky enough to spot a giant tortoise swimming slowly beside our boat. A few flying took off at the approach of our boat.
Then, we checked into one of the cheapest chalets on the island. We had planned to stay in a small chalet so that we did not burn a hole in our pocket. It was already 3 o’clock in the evening. We made a decision to take a stroll on the island, enjoying the clean, fresh air before we started our trip’s itinerary next day.
Fully recharged from a good night’s rest, we headed for Laurel Village. The first thing that stroke one on seeing the beach was the feeling of peace and tranquility. We had paid a visit at Marine Park. What such clear, crystal water that I could even see the fish swam under water. We attempted to go for scuba diving at the park. None of us had done this before and we thrilled at the chance. At first, we could see a variety of beautiful fish and also colourful corals that made me feeling very excited.
