I believe that a person is shaped by where they have been, where they are now, and where they are going to be in the future. I would have to say that the object that would describe me best is my basketball. My ball represents toughness and competitiveness, and how competitive I am in all aspects of my life. Toughness the ball can go through a lot before you stop using it, and it has a tough skin. I am a very tough person I have pretty thick skin you can do a lot to me before I get upset or mad. Competitive the ball is not competitive but the person who is holding the ball has to be competitive to succeed in winning a basketball game. As so I am very competitive in all the things I do no matter if it is sports, video games, school, and other things. The ball represents team hard work and team work. I am on a basketball team, and how we have to work as a team to get to our goal. Hard work like the people who play with the basketball the work hard to become the superstar they are. I try to do everything to the best of my abilities and I work hard to be the person I am. Team work the ball cannot do what it has to without a team to pass to run plays and to make a basket without a team. I have learned to work in a team over the years. I don’t think I would be the person I am today without the team around me. In conclusion the ball can represent me in many different ways toughness, teamwork, competitiveness, and hard work. I am also all of these things in one and I hope I can be all of these things and more in the future. All of these aspects of my basketball represent me a lot, and how I have learned from the past and how it has helped me.
