Write in the space below. 1) The strategy that Chevy uses is the “long lasting American truck” theme. That Chevy is America’s truck, and it will last you your life. 2) They use this strategy by showing the average, hard working American loving and telling great stories of their Chevy truck. Some of the stories are horrendous, such as the fireman’s story, and their vehicle was there to see it through and it still ran afterwards. Others include stories such as “it started with my grandfather, now it is my truck”, implying that it can last through 2 generations and still run great. My personal favorite is the man that had a Chevy truck with 2 million miles on it, and it was still pulling along.
