Communication and Collaboration Strategy paper

Communication and Collaboration plays a very important role in our society today. In Almost everything we do involves some type of communication. We can communicate either directly or indirectly depending on the message we are trying to communicate.
Communication and Collaboration can be traced back to the beginning of time. There are many different forms of communication. Without good communication and collaboration, it would be very difficult to reach goals and find resolutions.
Good communication will ensure that all parties involved are working on one accord and that all parties involved have a thorough understanding of what is expected of each other.
When working with groups of people, it is very important to understand the different learning styles and personality types. This will help ensure that the group is successful and will meet its goal. Each individual person has his/her own unique personality and learning style and it is very important to understand how to recognize and communicate to these styles.
The three learning styles that I will focus on for this project will be:
Interpersonal
Visual – Spatial
Naturalistic
The Interpersonal type learner is the person that likes to participate with others, enjoy sharing ideas and easily work well other group members.
Each of these learning styles would be a great asset to a team because each of these styles can contribute information that will help achieve great success in communicating goals.
When utilizing these styles in a group setting, I would utilize the Interpersonal type person as an administrator or conflict manager. This person would be good at listening, encouraging team building and getting others to share information. This person is usually very likable.
