Business Communication Trends

In today’s world we all know that running a business is not at all an easy task, and anyone who owns a business or works in the business field knows that advance technology is needed to handle all of the businesses communication needs. However, before the business can become a business, it is important to learn the new tools and technology needed in order for a business to run successfully. (Eshaniv, 2009) Whether you are a business owner or employee, it’s important to become aware of the latest trend for business communication to allow communication across the globe. (Eshaniv, 2009) There are many new trends especially created for business owners from verbal to written communication, social networking tools, portable media players, PDA’s, and video conferencing. (Locker, Kienzler, 2008) New creations of social-networking sites like Face Book and MySpace allows business owners to post a profile or have useful links to promote or advertise their business.

Business communications plays an important role in my day-to-day work activities by allowing me to build good relationships between my co-workers and clients and to exchange information. There are very few work activities which do not require some sort of business communication. Whether it is in the use of fax machines, conference calls, or e-mails, communication helps bring about understanding and clarity between workers and clients as well as bosses.

Business communication helps me manage my day-to-day activities starting with verbal or written communication or by using advance technology.
