Do parents pay for textbooks, school furniture or help fund afterschool activities in your local neighborhood public grade schools? Schools are responsible for handling those responsibilities plus more with little help from the government and parents. The government should help make the schools better instead of cutting budget from the public school system. The little help from the government and the large budget cuts that they attempt to make every couple of years they are taking away from the future generation’s education. The government should want to help as much as possible because these children are the future doctor’s, lawyers, bus drivers and presidents, therefore companies such as Pepsi and Coke help fund public schools if the school allows the company to advertise or market inside of the school. Companies should be able to market or advertise inside of public grade school’s because it is the schools only reliable way for funding; parents need to regulate what they want their children to buy, and marketing is everywhere else outside of the school.
Advertisements from companies such as Pepsi and Coke are public school’s only reliable source of funding. Schools have other sources of funding but the companies are the only trustworthy candidates. The companies simply want to place vending machines into the schools lunchroom or the hallways to market their product to the students and faculty. As long as the vending machines are allowed to be placed into the school’s building the company will provide revenue that goes toward the school funding. The school doesn’t have to encourage their students or faculty to buy from the vending machines to receive the help from the companies. Thus the companies are the only reliable way of funding because they need to school to help them market in trade for helping the school with funding, they work together in helping each other.
