Select an industry and organization of interest to you.  In 500 words or less, describe the industry and organization.  Focus your description on the competitive advantage of your organization and the competing organizations within the industry.

An industry is the people or companies engaged in a particular kind of commercial enterprise. An organization is a group of people who work together. Through out the world there are many industries and many organizations that exists. Different types of people are apart of the two or play apart within the two. Many fit my interest but the industry and organization I chose to describe that best fits my interest is the Apparel industry but mainly footwear. The organization I chose to focus on is Foot Locker.
The Apparel industry is also called the Footwear Industry, Textile and Clothing Industry, Shoe Industry, Textile Industry, Clothing Stores, Fashion Industry, Clothing Industry, Apparel Manufacturing Industry, Clothing Apparel Industry, Garment Industry, Textiles Industry, and Fashion and Clothing Industry. I define the apparel industry as companies that design, manufacture, market, and/or license brands for men's, women's, and/or children's clothing, footwear, and accessories. Within the Apparel industry stood The American Apparel and Footwear Association (AAFA) which is an American industry trade group representing hundreds of apparel, footwear, and sewn products companies and their suppliers. The AAFA was formed in August 2000 through the merger of the American Apparel Manufacturers Association and Footwear Industry America.
The footwear organization I chose to describe and talk about is FootLocker. Foot Locker, Inc.
