Comprehensive School

One of the most important tasks to be done is that the youth should be prepared for their future. Most of this task is carried out by school which is important for their future, which makes them realize what they are interested in. What should be achieved is that as many people as possible should become educated and the aim of the comprehensive school is to be supported and to support the pupils. It is a school until the age of 14.

First only at 14 one has to decide about one’s future and not at the age of ten and so one has more time to develop. For the weaker pupils remedial education is offered to increase their chances. A combined school should show that the pupils also can have fun with learning. The achievement is evaluated verbally so that they know how to improve. To fail a class is not possible because the weaker ones are supported to reach the goal.
The lessons take place in smaller groups and there is always a teacher available and in addition to this teacher there are also co-teachers to support for example especially the weaker ones and also there is one teacher available for the better ones. Weaker ones are encouraged, better ones receive additional skills.
New methods and projects are said to increase the fun factor with/involved in learning. Lessons should last for about half an hour and not only anymore about 50 minutes which should boost independency. Projects that last for more than one day should increase interest and knowledge of the students.

Comprehensive school is a full-time project . Each student should find his own “lernrhythmus”. Everything is done during the time in school so that the children when they come home don´t have to do extra homework. Everyone learns on his level so that no boredom turns up and so that no one feels ashamed.
