Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (AIDS), is a disease of the human immune system caused by the Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV). This hazardous disease still doesn’t have any antidote to cure. For this reason, this illness becomes easily spread among the society in the world. HIV transmission occurs in three ways, they are sexual intercourse, exposure to infected blood, or mother to child transmission through birth or breast feeding. This transmission problem has become the government and the world problem, not only personal problem anymore. As a result, the government and the world which consolidated in some organizations collectively promote how to prevent AIDS, such as by posting some advertisement, giving seminar or even distributing condom freely, particularly to teenager. I believe that that prevents AIDS by distributing condom for free is not effective way because it has some disadvantages.
First, by promoting condom they will not prevent AIDS at all on the contrary they seem legalize people, especially teenager to do pre marital sex and prostitution, which are included high-risk sexual activities. Since we know that the transmission of this virus mostly because of high-risk sexual activities. As a result, they just use the easy way to thwart this problem by distributing condom freely rather than erase the problems from the root itself. As people think that they already have condom so they can have sex with any person they like, although not their spouses.
