Writing
Writing is an essential method used to help us communicate with different types of people. Writing can lessen the stress that one has to encounter. This system of communication dates far back to the time of ancient Egyptians and beyond. Therefore, the use of writing was usually reserved for those of a higher ranking. Writing has become a common tool amongst us, within the past few centuries. Now, with all the modern technologies, the craft for writing had developed into something that many people can communicate with, which is faster and easier.
My greatest strength is creating a piece that I believe can easily understood, while maintaining a decent level of professionalism for whom I’m writing for. I like to write pieces that will reach my audience or reader whether it is for information or for entertainment. In the work place this is beneficial for writing memorandums to address any issues, concerns, or as a way to inform my supervisors about a particular matter. I like to make writing clear, simple and also suitable for any authority figure to read. As a student this is very useful when writing for a public speaking assignments. I hope for my audience can relate and form conclusions from the materials I shared.
Writing can become difficult, when I am unable to make a piece flow and be understood by my audience. For instance, in the work place, if I’m going to send a message and I use acronyms this will sometimes throw people off and they will not bother to read the materials. This will have a negative impact on us as well as the job. This can hinder anyone from completing a task properly. This can have a negative impact on the job. It will also reflect on how well I perfume school as well.
