In regards to the new Web Conferencing software you are requesting for weekly meetings; I have done some research in order to determine which of the various types of software would best suite our company productively and financially. I have compared and weighed the pros and cons of Infinite Conferencing, InterCall, and Ready Talk. After careful review of these programs I have found Infinite Conferencing to be the best suited program for the needs of our company.
Not only is Infinite Conferencing the best priced, “Infinite Conferencing is the best web conference service in the industry. It boasts an impressive maximum number of participants. With the ability to accommodate up to 1,000 attendees, Infinite Conferencing dwarves the competition.”(“2014 Best Web Conferencing Software Reviews,” 2014) InterCall on the other hand is set up for more of a smaller business meeting considering it only supports 20 participants, behind Ready Talk at 25 participants. Furthermore, InterCall doesn’t support Mac computers which is a foreseen problem in the future.
Ready Talk had good reviews and had promising features that would suite our company, however according to No1Reviews.com “The pricing structure is, in our opinion, in desperate need of an overhaul. Monthly subscriptions are only available for the web based part of the service and don’t necessarily include teleconferencing facilities - you may find that you still have to pay (per minute per participant) for the privilege of being able to talk to each other.” As you can see paying per minute could be a problem as this software is intended for weekly meetings and that pricing would not be beneficial to our company.
