In today's rapidly developing world, there are problems that will inevitably affect society. One of these problems is corruption. It has existed for many years, corruption has spread to all countries and all segments of the population. Absolute victory over corruption seems impossible, but it is necessary to limit its scope so as not to undermine the very foundations of the country's existence. There are several reasons why the current level of corruption must be reduced as quickly as possible. First of all, modern corruption has infiltrated all levels of government as well as the highest echelons of power, which makes it especially dangerous. Today it is difficult to meet a non-corrupt official. We can see that the most typical forms of corruption are bribery, bribing government and political leaders, officials, and others. In addition to inefficient use of material and financial resources, corruption among authorities leads to an increase in the level of distrust of the government. Secondly, corrupt officials feel unpunished, as the cases, concerning their corrupt activities, do not reach the court. Therefore it leads us to the third reason – increase in corruption’s zone of influence. Minor officials, businessmen and ordinary workers "get inspired" by the impunity of the highest levels, they teach to steal by the law and facilitate the spread of corruption. In addition to that, we get an increase in crime, which, by the way, is already incredibly great in many countries. Finally, corruption can lead to increased theft from the public treasury, thereby undermining the country's economy. The prevalence of corruption is such that it poses a threat to national security, questioned the success of socio-economic transformation. In summary, corruption is becoming the norm rather than the exception, including those of a political, economic and ruling elite.
