Pictographs: a pictorial symbol used as the earliest symbol of writing around 3100BC. Pictographs are the image of the commodity engraved on tablets of clay.

Epic Hero: he has a historical existence and then myth turns him into part god/part human. He has supernatural qualities and deeds.
“lust for power”: desire of not to die, search for immortality to keep in power. In addition, fear of death is a desired and search for immortality.
“let the women’s power over power the man”: women are the gateway to civilization, education, making of better humans. Humanization of a man is through a women’s body.
“set at her feet”: possession by the women, obedience, submission to the woman. Taming, domesticating like a dog. He possesses her physically, she possesses him psychologically.
