There are many similarities and differences to living in the city verses living in the country. However, living in the country is most definitely the better choice of the two due to the cost, environment, and work ethic.
Living in the country in reference to the cost of living, is inexpensive compared to living in the country. If a person lived in the city they would have to pay for water, food is more expensive in the city, and housing is up there in price, and gas prices / services such as transportation. With all of the aggravation a person has keeping up with making more money to pay for all cost is more expensive in the city than in the country. In the country, a family has a well so there is no need to pay for water, gas prices are not as high and there are no transportation services, there are local grocery stores for a reason for lower priced products, and housing is dirt cheap until like city.
The environment of the country is completely different than the city. The country is not extremely busy and not populated with harmful fumes like the city. The country life is filled with tons and tons of trees which provide people to breathe in fresh air. Whereas the city is constantly cutting down the trees to build business’ which causes more and more populated air. Who would not want to breathe in fresh air in the natural environment of the country? The country is peaceful and quiet whereas the city is busy and car horns are beeping which causes tons of noise. In the country it may take twenty minutes to get to the store and in the story it may take twenty minutes to go a mile down the road because of an excessive amount of vehicle on the road at one time. The country only has cows and their life is peaceful with no stress and the city has the general public’s waste and is constantly full of aggravation.
