Creon The Tragic Hero
Human can act rashly doing inappropriate actions. One inappropriate action can not listening. Many humans these days do not listen or sometimes pretend to even listen. For example someone can tell on another something like a person will kill ones wife but since the person maybe or not listening, the person will get a big surprise later in the day. In the story Antigone, Creon does not listen to no one so he ends up losing all his family. He loses his wife and kids which to Creon its his world. Since he’s the new king of Thebe, he does not listen to nobody. The tragic hero of the story, Sophocles’ Antigone, translated by Ian Johnson, the character Creon, because he meets and fits the five required elements.
In the story Antigone, Creon, a noble stature because his king. Noble statures when one’s higher or above society. “Here comes Creon new king of our land” (5). This proves that Creon’s just becoming king of the new land Thebe. Thebes, the city where the story takes place. “Is it a mistake to honour my own rules”(18). This means that Creon the new king of Thebes he’s making rule which only a king can do so the town can follow him since he’s the new king and people may not know him that well.
Also in the story, Creon the tragic hero has a tragic flaw which he’s very hubris. Hubris means that Creon has to mush excessive pride. In the story Creon the king of

Thebes, hubris what Creon does best by not listening to any one not even woman or gods. Creon said “No woman is going to govern me” (12). This means that no women no matter what color religion or even his wife would tell him what to do or say because he’s king and when ones king, the king does not listen to nobody but himself.
