Officers and Henderson Fire Department paramedics were called to a home in the 1900 block of Dunnam Street, near Pabco and Sunset Roads, at about 10:50 p.m. Sunday for an unconscious infant, police said.

When officers and paramedics arrived they found the infant not breathing and showing signs of abuse, police said.

The baby was taken to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

The Clark County Coroner's Office identified the infant as Tristin Michaels Hilburn of Henderson. The cause and manner of death will not be known for weeks although an autopsy was conducted Monday morning, a spokeswoman with the coroner's office said today.

Rayshaun T. Coleman, 20, was charged Monday with murder in connection with the boy's death, police said.

Coleman, who is dating the boy's mother, was looking after the child at the time of the incident while the mother was away from the house, police said.
