The development of change management plans for CrysTel organization in the “Building a Culture for Sustaining Change” has caused major implication for the organization including some human behavior implications. CrysTel telecommunications executives have tried unsuccessfully to create new ways for increasing sales. The executives also tried using surveys for figuring out the strengths and weaknesses by departments. It was found that many resistance factors to change in the organization and the behavior shaping at all levels for employees. One objective from the survey was to enable the managers to know as much as they could about the work-related issues like supervisory guidance, teamwork and communication. The employee’s behaviors were able to be displayed clearly once the survey was finished. Employees’ behaviors were not satisfactory towards each other because of the lack of communications. When the employees felt like they were not valued or wasn’t recognized for reaching or meeting a particular goal the moral of the employee would be down. Employees would call in to work, perform less and have very little job satisfaction. The changes that the company wanted to push on the employees also included different approaches for reaching some of the same goals that the company had already had in place. Some of those goals included improved leadership skills, employee satisfaction, growth and even new products and services for better productivity and quality. Some of these changes were so drastic that some departments have been reluctant to the change. Employees working for CrysTel needed to be able to adapt to constant changes in the telecommunications industry.
