The meaning of this paper is to analyze the use of databases within my company, currently I am a homemaker, which make this assignment a little hard. Having the dream of owning a small business if possible, I will attempt to analyze the use of databases within my company of the future. The database I will be analyzing is Microsoft Access 2007.
Databases have been in since the beginning of technology and will continue to grow and become stronger as the companies realize the importance of data management. “A database is a collection of facts and information, typically consisting of two or more related data files. An organization’s database can contain facts and information on customers, employees, inventory, competitors’ sales information, online purchase, and much more.” (Stair & Reynolds, 2006) No matter what can of information is stored in a database is categorized and filed and business utilizes the databases for data and record management.
Microsoft access is easy to use and helps keep track of personal or business information with user interface and interactive design ability. Access allows you to control the database to allow the data to be more effective. No matter what your occupation is whether you are a teacher, lawyer, doctor or even a student during homework, you will be able to better understand the information by analyzing the data with Microsoft access.
“Microsoft Access is a powerful program to create and manage your databases. It has many built in features to assist you in constructing and viewing your information.
