However, I think that Dave is a liberal and I have a lot of evidence to back my opinion up. The main thing that made me think of him as a liberal was his job program. Liberals support big government and government programs, so therefore Dave is a liberal in this way. Also, many of the democrats shown in the film showed support for the new job program, and they tend to lean towards the liberal side. Also, the funding for the homeless shelters was another thing that made me see him as a liberal. Conservatives don’t think that it is the government’s job to subsidize private organizations. However, Dave set aside around $650 million dollars to give to these homeless shelters; he is definitely not a conservative. Because of these reasons that I have given, I believe that Dave is a liberal.
