September 4, 2015 My First Rollercoaster
I remember my first rollercoaster like it was yesterday. The night before my dad had told me we are going to Santa Cruz. I was excited and started to pack some stuff for the trip. I packed some shorts, shirt and socks in case something happens. When I was done I layed down and went to sleep. When I woke up I ate my cereal and made sure I had everything I needed. The next day I woke up, excited and ready to go. I got in the car with my dad and we left on the freeway. I was wearing a black shirt, black hat, black socks, grey shorts and slides on.
Next on the road we got something to eat and got on the road. Two hours later we arrived to Santa Cruz. We got out the car and went onto the boardwalk of a beautiful view with roaring wind and rushing waves from the beach. Next I got a wristband for all the rides and then I saw it “The Big Dipper”. I’ve never been on a rollercoaster and my dad said that’s the last ride were going on. We walked around for a while enjoying all the rides. Then we started going on the rides and having fun. There were about fifteen rides we went on and it was fun. Seven hours later we decided to start heading home.
Finally my dad remembered we didn’t go on the rollercoaster and my heart dropped. So we went in line for twenty minutes. Then it was our turn, terrified in fear I got on and sat down. We waited two minutes for ins.truction. Counting one, two, three then we flew fast and hard up top and then down to high speeds and steep drops. We were slowing down and then it was over. I wasn’t that terrified after that. We went to the car and headed out. Finally that is my story of my rollercoaster.
