Decisions in Paradise Part I
There is that short lived time after obtaining your degree that you dream of landing the position where you can make a difference or that so called “Dream Job”. There may also be that time where you think what it would be like to live in different places in the world that you currently do or even finding that one true love that will last for a lifetime. These dreams are usually short lived dreams, which I found out just two weeks after obtaining my degree. I started a new job with the Whirlpool Corporation after obtaining my degree. I was told that I would travel to Kava review the potential risk associated with the location. Doing this I will have to analyze, synthesis, and prescribe what the presence of Whirlpool is going to do for the corporation and goods for the people.
Not knowing anything about the island of Kava, which is located in the South Pacific, is was still excited to see what this new job and its duties consisted of for me. My vision of this island was that it had to be a beautiful and peaceful island. You could say that I was truly surprised to see the island for myself it was not at all what I had thought it would be. Stepping out of the plane the first thing I noticed was how disheveled the properties of Kava seemed to be. These sighted that I first saw when I landed on Kava continued all the way to the Whirlpool offices. Just by looking as passing, I could tell that horrible things had happened to this South Pacific island paradise. I could only imagine what it had been.
After arriving at the offices I met my immediate supervisor Alex, this is when she told me that Kava needed our help. Alex explained the different problems that were controlling the island of Kava.
