David Daniel Davis Rant:Defeating the purpose of owning a cellular telephone.
These are the times when communication capabilities are at their absolute apex and living in the world today requires that we be able to maintain contact with each other at all times. The advent of the cellular telephone is conducive to being able to keep in touch. However, it seems as though whenever you are in dire need of reaching somebody; this marvelous device is suddenly not being picked up. I have often had the problem of needing to get in contact with somebody and they never pick up their cellular telephone. I have needed a jump start and called pretty much every contact in my list only to never receive an answer from any of them. Why even have one if you are never going to answer it? Do they not realize that it was created just for being able to get a hold of some body in an extreme situation? On a bigger scale, this all too familiar scenario plays out on a daily basis in everyday life. I suggest we take the effort to answer out mobile devices as often as possible, as we never know when we will be the ones who so desperately need to establish contact only to be met with an automated response for our efforts. In conclusion, keep in mind that the next time you hear that mobile device ring; answer it because you never know what awaits you on the other end of the line.
