Democratic and Republican View on National Issues

Iraq War:
This is topic interesting because it varies. Much democrats and republican both agree or disagree but democrats most defiantly are more for getting our troops out of this war and to withdraw from Iraq. Democrats see this as spending too much money on a war that shouldn’t be happening in the first place. They believe the government should be spending money on schools, communities, hospitals, and our economy instead of Iraq.
Republicans view this topic as, we got ourselves into this war, and we might as well finish it. They believe money should go to the war in Iraq so we can defeat them. They believe it is for our better to come out this war with a victory. Republicans know that they have a less chance of being drafted then minorities. They wish to keep our troops there until the war is over which strongly disagrees with the democrat’s point of view.

Minimum Wage:
Democrats wish to raise taxes and keep them raised so the poorer working class can become the middle working class. Democrats wish to keep theses wages higher too and claim that the poorest Americans have waited too long for a raise. They feel like it will help our economy and majority of our U.S. citizens. Democrats wish to share equableness with everyone in the working field because everyone has to work to survive.
Republicans believe that hiring the minimum wages will create fewer jobs for most people so it’s making it harder on democrats and the poorer working class to find a job. They believe that wages should be decided by the free market. Republicans feel like they are more angry that minimum wage increase is causing them to have higher taxes and do not wish to exceed the new taxation. People don’t think that they should be equal to the lower class citizens because they don’t want to be compared to the lower class and they want it to stay the same so that their pay is higher than the lower working class....
