The organisations I have chosen for this unit are Asda and Superdrug. In this task I am going to illustrate the stakeholders for the organisation I have selected. I am going to describe the key stakeholders of the two contrasting organisations.

The stakeholders for ASDA

 Owners
 Employees
 Directors

Owners

Asda’s owners of the business are the main stakeholders. The owners of Asda risk their own fund when they invest in a business and maybe rewarded in a certain ways. For example sole traders and partners obtain a share of profit in the form of drawings, whilst stakeholders receive dividends. The owners of Asda are the stakeholders. The profit the Asda makes, from the profit all the bills are paid and the money that is left over is then shared out between the stakeholders in return of their invest. If the company was not making any profit then the stakeholders will just leave and go work elsewhere. When the supplier supplies at Asda it’s called business to business communication.

Employees

Asda’s employees influence is that they work very hard to reach their own goals efficiently; they also influence this organisation when they work with it to provide a better service for the customers. The employees work at various levels in the organisation. They include directors, managers, and operatives. The employees would want to have good pay, be respected, and be given reasonable targets. The employees should work at high ability to get all this. : at Asda the managers are employees responsible for deciding on the tactics for achieving the organisation objectives within in a particular area, section or department. Although managers have a similar needs to other employees, they have more responsibility and are more highly paid.

Directors

At Asda the directors are the employees whose job is to run the company on the behalf of the stakeholders, they set up the business objective and the strategic decision about the direction
