Why you should verify if the dispatch is in any government vehicle you use.

The reason you should verify if the dispatch is in any government vehicle is because it shows weather or not the PMCS was done and when it was done last. You must have a 5988 in your dispatch book. A 5988 is a form that you use to do PMCS with along with the TM for that government vehicle. The PMCS should be done on a daily basic on any government vehicle. The PMCS also shows if there is any faults on the vehicle. Knowing the faults helps you operate the vehicle better. You must also have the drivers military license. This shows what vehicles the driver is licensed on. You should verify if the driver is licensed on the military vehicle they are driving. The license should be signed by the driver and the current commander. The dispatch book also contains a dispatch request form. This has consist of three papers. One is the actual dispatch request form. It shows the bumper number of the vehicle being dispatched. The day the vehicle is being dispatched on. The purpose of the dispatch. It also shows how many days the military vehicle will be dispatched for. It shows the drivers name and license number and also the secondary drivers info if there is a secondary driver. The drivers supervisor must drive print and sign it. The QA/QIC NCO must sign it and as well as the motor sergeant. This is where the commander must sign as well. The second paper is the inspection sheet. This is a check list to verify that all the PMCS was done properly and to second check it as well. The driver and driver's supervisor must sign it as well as the maintenance personal that checks the vehicle. The maintenance supervisor and the dispatcher must sign as well.
