Analysis of Divided by Two using feminism.
In the story was a lady named Belle. She was intelligent, very rational, that was the way she was portrayed in the story. He had his husband, his aficionado, I am not sure. The man is the narrator in the story.
Belle, had been complaining about their neighbors’ un-neighborly behavior.
His man just ignored her.
“Get off me”, he said.
Belle informs her own lover that she had been making all the efforts to be as friendly as she could be. But these pesky neighbors won’t just move a face muscle and smile.
His man asked senseless, misleading questions, so that he wont hurt Belle’s feelings.
But still he ignored her.
“Get off me”, he said.
She talked about how their lady neighbor and his lover are being inconsiderate, putting a fence — boundary between their lawns even without asking permission from them. Talking about the halves not being halves at all. Manly thing. That came to the mind of Belle’s chap. Still he disregarded it.
“Get off me, get off them”, he said.
Of course Belle insisted. So the man did a note; to shut Belle’s mouth.

There, was this thing about their lady neighbor and her very short shorts.
Disrespectful. Perverted. Misrepresented.

So their man neighbor went to talk with Belle’s lover. They aren’t very comfortable with each other. They started shouting. Belle’s man kept on checking on Belle. He, evidently, doesn’t want Belle get on with the fight. But Belle, wanted to, needed to, was supposed to.
So she did.
And no one could simply ignore her now. Her words were loud, overpowering his Man’s disapproval, well deliberated, like an anti-matter ready to destroy. Her man impedes her, other neighbors gawk with curiosity, she continues[1].
