A certain use of technology that is a source of entertainment involving your favorite shows, favorite movies or even your favorite programmes. You sit in front of it, attaching your mind to whatever programme shows up, even though a bad scene pops up that could instantly affect you, me and others in our community. Its crime on television! You may be wondering why I’m talking about this particular topic “CRIME ON TELEVISION” cause seeing crime everywhere hurts me and makes our world and life today a lot much complicated and harder to live. This is why I’m here, to talk to you all about this appalling, outrageous and upsetting news and lifestyle our people nowadays are living in. Does television promote crime in the community?
To many of yous who disagree or not, I definitely agree that television does promote crime in the community. You may have seen it; heard it or may not even noticed that the police cars are always out chasing crime every second of the day in what we call our beautiful country New Zealand. Most of the crimes that are caught by the police are mainly teenagers aged from 13-20 years. Hearing 13 years of age committing crime is very shocking recalling about a young 13 year old boy who murdered a shopkeeper not long ago. I know you wouldn’t want to hear such miserable news but can you even picture a young school boy doing such dreadful things to an innocent man? No, neither can I.
First of all, what do you all think about television? Well let me tell you. I know one may say television is cool, but in reality television is not what you think it is. Television is one of the strongest influences in many peoples’ lives. Why? Because when they see criminals getting hauled off by the police, they have most likely gotten their ideas to commit crime off the TV. However advertisements are another problem.
