Driving Age

Driving Age

Changing the driving age is unreasonable to me and many other teens. It gives teens freedom when you let them drive. I think it's unreasonable because most teens are very responsible and can handle being behind a stirring wheel. If you think that teens are going to be crazy while driving let me tell you I’ve seen so many middle aged and older people driving like they have no since. I also believe that there is really no difference in between a 18 and 16 year old when it comes to driving. I am not saying that 18 year olds aren't mature. I am just saying that a 12 year old can be a better driver then both of them. Changing it from 16 to 18 isn’t that big of an change. Maybe changing it to 21 is different, but not 18. Most 16 year olds when they start off driving they start off pretty good When they get 17 they MIGHT drive a little crazier but mostly they won’t change I also think that teens being able to drive help them be more respectful people say they get pulled over by the cops they would learn how to talk respectfully to people also I letting people go in front of them. I think that most of the people that get their driving license are responsible. I mean there are some bad kids out there but not all kids are bad. Having cars also keeps teens from being at the wrong place at the wrong time like say if you got let out of school late and you have to through a bad neighborhood if you have you license (and a car) you drive by that neighborhood. Plus if you have a car (and a license) you don’t have to ask a ride from your friend’s mom or your mom. It gives you a feel of confidence knowing that you can drive. Plus in most country’s 16 year olds are consider adult. If your consider an adult in another part of a country I think you should be old enough to drive. Its not like where asking to drink alcohol or shot a gun its just driving I know it’s a big...
