We all know there is a serious drug problem in our children today. Some of them are minor children and some of them are older kids. But the problem between the minor children and elder children are different. Now I want to talk about the problem in our minor children, including kids form kid gardens and elementary schools, they are forced to be on drugs everyday, in order to control their behavior at school.

The use of these drugs is useful and works good in some area. After using the drugs, the children can control their behavior. There is an example of a little girl that began using those kinds of behavior-altering drugs while she was growing. A girl named Andrea Okeson, had some problems in her brain when she was in middle school. And she was diagnosed as having ADD and ADHD, so she lived a very difficult life those years. Now she is eighteen, a freshman at the College of St. Catherine in St. Paul, enjoying time with her friends and looking forward to a career in fashion merchandising. This was all thanks to a bit of chemical stabilizing provided by a pair of pills: Lexapro, an antidepressant, and Adderall, a relatively new anti-ADHD drug. (Medicating Young Minds). From these we can see how the drugs help minor children.

After the drugs were being created, the government realized that the drug was similar to other kind illegal drugs like cocaine. So the government started to control the drugs. Since the prices of these kinds of drugs are as high as others, so they were sold all over the world, and used as money making tools.

From the examples, it seems like that the drug use is not a wrong thing to do, but from the effects and other areas are the drugs really right to be used for behavior altering drugs for minor children?
