Exemplification Essay
Dylan Pfeiffer
People always want that one person they can trust with anything and everything.
I have that. I met Dylan Pfeiffer in the summer of 2010. We are both military brats. Our
parents have been in the military since we were born. We met on base and started off as friends.
As we hung out more and more, we started to get strong feelings for one another. July 19, 2010,
we started dating. Dylan and I were together for about a year and a half. We have been through
a lot together and he will always be my best friend. He knows everything about me, he stayed by
my side my entire pregnancy, and I can trust him to be a perfect husband in the future. Trust is
very important in a relationship and he has mine. Dylan is the most trustworthy person I know.
Dylan knows about all there is to know about me. I have a connection with him
and feel that I can tell him anything. He would never go around telling people the things I
tell him. He knows the bad things that I have done and does not judge me for them. He
accepts me for who I am through everything I have gone through. I go to him when I am
down. He is someone I can cry to and trust not to laugh at me. He now lives in Colorado. He is
there to go to school and get his career started. Until this day, we have not gone a day without
talking to each other.
Third, throughout my entire pregnancy, he did not go a day without being
with me. He ditched his friends to hang out with our unborn child and me. Dylan went to almost
every checkup for the baby. He gave up a great paying job in New Jersey to move in with my
family and me in Virginia. I will never forget the day he sold his Camaro to get money for our
son. I was shocked that he did this. That fast, red, shiny car was his baby. Knowing that he
would do this for us, I can trust him to take care...
