Ampaporn Kansrang is currently taking an MBA course because she is seeking a good opportunity for advancement to a higher level management position in Thailand, eventually having her own small business set up in the future.Ampaporn currently is working for the company called ICS EXPRESS ( Thailand ) Co.,ltd as a marketing and sales support.
Ampaporn graduated from Rajamangala University of Technology, Thanyaburi with a Bachelor of Business Administration (Business English) in the year 2005. After Ampaporn finished from her school her first job was as a Receptionist with Sunbelt Asia Business Brokerage Co.Ltd for ten months, during the period February 2005 to November 2005. Ampaporn’s responsibilities included answering and making phone calls, taking messages, sending and receiving mail and faxes, taking clients enquiries, dealing with company’s suppliers, reconciling the petty cash, welcoming and taking care of clients, helping with documents and administration tasks. Ampaporn then found out that working as a Receptionist was not attractive anymore. Ampaporn changed to a new job, working as a hotel Guest Relations Officer with Customer Service on the VIP floor for Windsor Suites Hotel in Bangkok. This job lasted for three months until she travelled to Florida in the USA. After her return to Thailand, Ampaporn’s experience qualified her for a position at a bigger hotel with 605 rooms, run by Thai Chinese owner, called The Emerald Hotel. She worked here from July 2007 to September 2008 as the Guest Relations Officer on the Executive floor. Her responsibilities included welcoming guests with warm feeling, helping guests checking in, checking out, making new booking as the guest’s requests, selling room upgrades, answering phone calls for all guests’ problems, giving out local restaurant and entertainment information and places to visit, escorting the guests to their rooms, explaining how to use equipment and machines in the...
