There are many reasons why I chose to be an engineering major. One reason is that engineering opens my mind to different areas of study where a lot of knowledge and power is used most of the time. When I work with knowledge, the results for me are outstanding because knowledge is what keeps me moving. Another reason is that it allows me to connect with different people who share the same interest as I share. Meeting different people everyday can influence me in every way, even if it is physically or emotionally. Another reason is it shows me how a machine operates, how it completes its task, and how it interacts with its operator. Machines can make a tough job seem easier because of the way it operates on a certain object or material. Finally, the last reason why I chose to be an engineer is that engineers earn a lot of respect in this world which I want to be a part of. Keeping all this reasons in my mind will help me become a successful engineer who has a lot of talent and skill.CASE, in computer science, acronym for computer-aided software engineering, a comprehensive label for software designed to use computers in all phases of computer program development, from planning and modeling through coding and documentation. CASE represents a working environment consisting of programs and other development tools that help managers, systems analysts, programmers, and others automate the design and implementation of programs and procedures for business, engineering, and scientific computer systems. Although formerly restricted to more powerful machines, CASE programs can run on microcomputers as well as on minicomputers.
