For Construction Management:



STATEMENT OF PURPOSE





Having done a good deal of self-evaluation and objective analysis of my interests, I have decided to pursue graduate studies in Construction Management. Being very passionate about buildings from my childhood, I have selected Architecture for my under graduation. The study of buildings, which is related to visual art, has always been my hobby. The various elements of Architecture and their combinations catch my attention.



My passion on Architecture made me a student of Architecture at Andhra University. It is a premier institute accredited “A” by All India Council for Technical Education. My under graduation here has given an in depth knowledge in understanding “The mother of all Arts” – Architecture. This knowledge helped me in buttressing my creative ideas and developing my knowledge in Planning and Construction from a very rudimentary stage.My keen desire to learn advancements in the field of construction industry made me update my knowledge with the latest trends and developments.



Academics have always been my strong hold. My inquisitive nature and a strong desire to ingrain the fundamental principles of Design, Construction and Planning have enabled me to achieve a good academic record. I have secured the top position in the first, third and fourth years of Architecture with an aggregate of 71.14%. My academic and co-curricular record has been consistently good.

In addition to my regular studies, I have undergone intensive training in arts from the ‘Department of Fine Arts’ in Andhra University. This training has helped me in expressing my creative ideas on paper and on clay. I have also participated in some regional level competitions, which helped me to prove myself.
